• Question: Do you enjoy your job

      Yes! Like any job, there are boring days, and also days which are very frustrating – normally when I cannot figure out the answer to a problem. However, there are far more fun days than bad ones 🙂

      There is a saying “Do What You Love, and You’ll Never Work Another Day in Your Life”. So any job you love is like playing football or cooking ( if you enjoy those). Like in a football game you will fall down, miss the goal, or don’t like the attitude of a player but you still keep playing because you love it. Or when cooking, you will burn the food once in a while, or mess up the taste by adding too much salt, but you will never give up cooking because you made one mistake, you will still cook because you love food!
      That’s how my job is to me, every once in a while I make mistakes, I fail to achieve my goals, I meet people that are hard to get along. Yet I enjoy doing my job so much I will not change it if things start getting tough and don’t go according to how I want them to. Yes, I enjoy my job, but I make difference in people’s lives. 🙂

      Yes, most of the time 🙂 There are some things I enjoy less and others I enjoy more, but overall research is interesting and fun! And making other people understand what you do is even more fun 😀
