• Question: how successful is radiation to treat cancer

      Quiet successful.
      There are 100s of different types of cancer. Some of those cancer types respond to Radiation really well and can be cured.
      Having said that, we are nowhere close to curing cancer entirely with any kind of treatment. Cancer is not one disease but rather a collection of disease that constantly changes at the cellular level. So one type of treatment for one cancer may not be as effective on another type of cancer. As the population grows so does the types of cancer. SO we have to do a lot of research in this field really cure all types of cancers.
